Do the police have to tell my probation officer?

Jason, you are on probation because a juvenile judge decided your actions needed supervison. The first step to avoid the type of problems you are having is to take responsibility for your actions, stop making excuses and blaming other people for your misfortune, and understand the it is your choices and decisions that results in you being in certain places, around certain people and doing certain things. It is the PO's job to search the database/files to see who under his supervision has violated the rules of probation so he will find out eventually from the police or individual research.
