Why do girls say its not about looks?

they said that to let you down easy how would you feel if they tell you no because you are ugly. On the other hand it's really about personality because if a handsome guy don't know how to treat them right it's not gonna work, to be in a relationship is like having the right job some just work to survive, some work because they love the job but they don't make enough money, some work because they love the job plus make great money.every job is different and not every job is for everyone, some can do this job better than others. Having a good look is for certain job that doesn't require skill but having a good personality is like having a skill for a job.
