Should i drink antibiotics?

Ive been having faciel pain around my sinuses ( near the eye eyebrow bone) for close to 3 weeks. Ive also have a congested nose with thick light yellow mucous ( light shade of yellow almost white.) Chances are my doc. will give me antibiotics to cure what i have ( which seems like a sinus infection). But im afraid that i have a viral infection instead of a bacterial l one. SO if i take the antibiotics they wont help and the bacteria that are harmlessly living in my body will become immune to them and give me a secondary infection that i wont be able to cure. Please help what should i do?
