Should I study Computer Engineering or Music?

I believe you should go with your deepest love. Follow your dream. If you truly enjoy computers go with that, but if your deepest love is music that should be your primary interest whether it be teaching, which is a whole different world from playing, but can fill your slack time until you get a break, and still put food on your table. Sure your prospects with computers are better, but look at people like Joe Walsh, who truly loves music. He's had a long career in music, is well known, and is of late with the Eagles. I remember when he used to play local bars for peanuts until he hit it big. It can be done. You just have to have the drive to do what you want. Life is a risk. Perhaps you might consider a double major, music and computers. Wouldn't it be great if you could combine the two and create a music program that would take the world by storm. Be bold, be creative, but be determined no matter which field you chose or which direction you want to go. you ultimately must make this decision yourself.
