What incentive do we have to work ? (read details : UK)?

i think most working people think the same. its time the government sorted out this situation. i heard something about people on jobseakers allowance being made to pick up litter in return for their allowance this is a step in the right direction to get spongers of their backsides and doing something use full. if i saw this in action and there were tighter checks on people applying for incapacity benefit i would not be so resentful about paying so much tax.
