Christians are not bound by the Sabbath as it was part of the law of Moses and the gentiles were never under the law and neither were we to keep the law as it wasn't intended for us. Scripture tells us that it was in fact the apostles who changed the day of worship to "The first day of the week" as they realized also that with the new covenant, they were free from the observance of the Law as the law had by then been fulfilled by Jesus
