How did you get here?

There was a specific time when I left the christian faith and started my spiritual journey (that I am still amidst) that is very vivid to me. Have you been of the same faith for your whole life? If not when did you come to your faith? I am just very interested in the struggle for the truth/salvation/enlightenment that we are all caught up in. All opinions welcome!!
