A person with spiritual beliefs coupled with an atheist, would the marriage last?

Atheist person agrees to let spiritual person educate future possible children about spirituality and principles of different religions so that they can choose their own religious beliefs or choose not to have religious beliefs...spiritual person finds this is the best negotiation but still feels slightly wary since this means not particpiating in all family traditions spiritual person was brought up in and dealing with family comments about rejection of traditions.
